Hey Guys,
I'm a newbie to xpd ... looking for clothing advice. Do you wear wet pants to paddle? And what type of fabric do you prefer for your shirt. I've noticed that in lots of photos folks are wearing knee high compression socks ... do these give a noticeable improvement in recovery?

Well, if you are pushing your inflatable kayaks along the road in a wheelbarrow then pants are definitely optional

I normally wear neoprene long pants on most paddle legs, I have a set of neoprene bottom/lycra front shorts for hot races.

for shirts I am allergic to wool so I can't wear the Icebreaker shirts that are very popular. I normally go a dry-weave long sleeve trekking shirt for the trek legs, and a synthetic sports shirt on the bike.
