Discussion: AR Insurance

The normal sport insurance companies that I use appear to have restricted their policies up to a maximum of 48hrs or 72hrs. Has this happened elsewhere in the world outside the UK?

Any suggested companies I can try for Exped Africa Lesotho which will be up to 6 days long?

can you just buy two policies at 3 days each?

What's the company you've used? We've always used World Nomads for AR. It's been a couple years, but they didn't have any such restrictions at that point.

We used World Nomads last year for NIAR and had no problems.

I've looked at the following and all have the following limits:

Dogtag - up to 48hrs
Sportscover Direct - up to 72 hours
InsureandGo - will need to phone them for tailored policy
Snowcard - will need to phone them for tailored policy

World Nomads has a UK branch but only appear to be for general holidays?
