So happy to hear that he had such a good trip.
And the four of them in one tent is adorable. You should have a devoted dog tent next time (with lots of soft cushions, of course)!

Yep, pup tent needed. Apparently our big NoBugZone tent (tarp with mesh walls) with foam pads was inadequate for their day use.

Ha! Too funny that they are so picky. Maybe they like the shelter and warmth of a solid-walled tent.

Sure enjoyed our tent at night! All we could do to keep him from barging in through the mesh door during the cold rainy parts of the day.

Dogs have a strong denning instinct, which is why crate training works so well for most of them if the owner has time and patience. A blanket over the crate makes them feel more safe and private - like being in a walled tent instead of a screened-in bug shelter.
