Discussion: 5Peaks Hardwood Hills / Team AttackPoint AR

Hey, come meet and race with fellow AP'ers :-)

The 5Peaks trail series added the option of having 'running groups' enter team rosters to accumulate individual standings at any 5Peaks race as a team score. This has added a nice social element (and fun competitive side) to the races, and it turned into great way to meet and socialize with other AP'ers (and other teams).

At the Rattlesnake point race we threw together a team and placed 2nd in the team standings! [The name "AttackPoint AR" is not some official sponsorship, but rather our common "run club" :-) ]

We have another strong team for the upcoming Hardwood Hills race (June 9th in Barrie Ontario), so if you were thinking of running in this event, and wanted to meet and race with Adventure friends let me know and I can add you to the roster [a few of us will be at upcoming races as well, but we've got a large team this time, 13 at this point! ]

Lots of fun today and great running by Team Attackpoint AR! Sincere thanks to FunRun for all his hard work to organize this. :)

It was great to see everyone (however briefly, I shouldn't have been running around so much :-) ); I'm so impressed with everyone's strong finishes. Everyone did great overall, and individually we had 7 podiums!

2nd place for the team, only a couple of points behind, our great finishes edged out by a team with great volunteering points (*all* of their team volunteered, lol)

Hopefully will have some time later today to upload a picture and link to everyone's race reports (where the great stories are :-) )

There will be some of us at representing at Highlands, Terra Cotta (Trail half), and Albion Hills (Champs).... with Albion having the most interest right now.

If you are thinking of doing any of these, or want to join the group at any of these events, let me know!

I have a race on all those days, except Albion Hills. So will try and make it to Albion, although that is the one with the most interest.
