...and I love that motto for your team as you keep getting better and better. Scary as it may seem, you are now one of "those teams" that newbies look up to and seek tips from. Way to go! :)

Glad you enjoyed that paddle. Too bad we had to change the first part of it two weeks before the race when water levels dropped too much after the dry summer. We had hoped to start with another section of technical paddling, getting onto the Gibson River from the southeast part of Nine Mile Lake. We paddled it last October and again in late June but by the beginning of August, it was impossible. You would have liked it!

I do expect we would have liked that paddle. Paddling lake after lake can get boring, but having to deal with beaver dams and low water sections kept things much more interesting.
