Discussion: What a page turner!!

I'm not gonna lie to you and tell you that I've read all of your race reports in the past. But this is best I've personally ever read. Excellent read Phats! I laughed out loud more than a few times.

I read most of it before bed last night, and then when I stirred at 4am this morning, I had to finish it before going back to sleep...which never happened thanks to early riser-Isaac.

Holy cr@p! I almost died when I read about the missing wheel! I'd be traumatized by nightmares for months after that!
What a race, what a story, thanks for sharing! What a result! BIG congratulations again!

Crazy to see GPS coverage on flat screens at TAs!

Great writeup phats! Just finished mine too (wasn't sure if you were going to write one up or not - oh well, now we have two accounts!).

Umm, surely there's a magazine that would be thrilled to have this as an article? It's as well written and suspenseful as something in Explore or Outside.

I would have paid good money to see the look on your face when you saw your wheel was missing... I can't imagine the 'sinking' feeling you must have had.

Amazing race recap and stories. Really appreciate all the detail as it gives everyone following along an idea of what you had to endure. Congrats to all four of you once again. I sure hope Harper and James didn't bring any midges back to Ontario!
