Is there much snow? When? I really only have race skis... well, I do have one pair of waxless, but they're race waxless. We have NO snow up here in the Bay City/Midland area. Isn't the first orienteering practice this Sunday? Wow, by the number of questions I just asked, you'd think I was 5 years old.

We have something like 4-6" inches. Barbara skied the next state park over recently.
I should see if Igor will comment on Peach Mountain; it's not groomed in any way; everybody who lives that way just skis the snot out of it. I scouted for my meet over the past winter and almost every trail had ski tracks on it.
I hope to set the first flags or streamers on Saturday. I'll post up maps once it's read so no one goes anywhere before it is ready. Looks to be about 8-9 km straightline. Hilly. Possibly too easy. I'll know more after Saturday.
