any theories? Fall out from that paddling leg?

It's weird because we talked about it for hours and don't really have any solid ideas. They looked like post-expedition feet. He was wearing the same socks and shoes that he had previously worn in other races including the Rage and Thunder Rolls, where a lot of time was spent with wet feet. We did get a lot of sand and desbris in the shoes during that paddle, but that doesn't account for the amount of water his feet absorbed. The only difference was the 100% humidity that didn't allow for anything to dry out at all.
