Enjoy a summer, after-work, evening sprint at Kensington MetroPark!

Short sprint course, beginner or advanced choice, along with a bonus opportunity to try your hand at radio orienteering (aka ARDF).

The sprint will be less than 3 km distance. Beginner course will be yellow equivalent, advanced will be yellow-orange. Winning finish times should be less than 30 min's.

For those that want to try Radio-O / ARDF, we will have equipment you can borrow. These will be very short courses visiting just a couple checkpoints / transmitters. Help getting started and instruction will be available.

For experienced foxhunters with your own equipment we are planning to have some good training on both 144 MHz and 3.5 MHz bands beyond the intro courses explained above. Plan on a mini 144 MHz Classic and a mini Fox-O.

Park requires pass or entry fee. Registration online required at the SMOC website / EventReg.

In the event of rain we may have to cancel the radio-O, but sprint will happen rain or shine as long as there aren't any hazardous storms.
