First time out in the K1 with this group today. Much harder to keep up and even harder to stay on a wash.

Similar session to Tuesday with 15-30-45-30-15 pyramids, 2 mins rest after every three. I only did three sets today since some overthusiast little so and so had arranged an early meeting and I had to hotfoot it to work.
Everybody else was late though so I probably could have completed the set.

Legs told me that they needed a week off running so they got it. Eased back into by doing the set I should have done last Thursday which was 4 x 5 min tempo, 2 mins recovery.

Went through Kings Park again and did the first rep down the sand trail and the second up the green mile so I expect the paces to be quite different. I needed to pad out the distance on the last one so I took the path through the park between Mounts Bay rd and the freeway, it is an awesome little park in there, can't believe I have never run through there before.

No Eddie or Trav today so Ruth called the session, 10 x 15, 30, 45, 30, 15s efforts again.

Hard work this session, I must have let my form go for a while as by the end my right elbow was starting to whinge. I need to pay more attention to it next time.

Ummm, a training ride?

Definitely resistance training towing two babies around the Swan Valley all day. Caitlyn fell asleep at one point and I was really happy until the other baby poked her and woke her up. Grumpy babies by the end of the day. Except for Isla who was her usual placid self. damn quiet children.

I am pretty sure I can just go back and copy a race report from around this time last year after I was too tardy in swapping back to the river rudder. or just sum it up with F'n weed and be done with it.

I had to stop and clear weed at least 5 times in this race, and Karl overtook me on each of those times. Thankfully I just pipped him on the sprint to the beach. I was still wayyy to far down the field though.
