Short fairly low intensity run. I had to take my puppies with my and that always slows things down...a poop break here...today it was a throw-up break too (no it wasn't for me). Probably not a bad idea to keep it mellow after the leg workout this morning. It was nice to run without a jacket or insulated tights for the first time.

Nice quick ride on fresh legs after 2 days rest. The route had a good chunk for fast rolling hills on good road that was nice and fast. With fresh legs I was able to push on all the hills pretty good and get the HR up there so that was nice.

Schedule for the day changed so I ended up doing a road run rather than hitting the trails for a longer session.
This was my first real "run" of the year that I could push a bit and see where I was at....have I ever mentioned I HATE running? I started of a bit too fast and just can't seem to get my legs to move fast enough and long enough to really push the pace. Felt slow and heavy after the first 3km or so.
Since it's early in the season I hope there is lots of room for improvement so I can almost feel like a runner sometimes.

A it tougher route this time with a lot more rolling hills. Legs were pretty tired from the get go and I totally bonked with about 2km to go. Barely made it home.
Enjoying a coffee, banana and protein recovery shake now....mmmmmm
