Long way home along waterfront.
Rainy downpoour from 10-13k.
8 PM
yoga (Hot) 1:30:00 [2]
OMG!!!! This was brutal.
I was done as soon as I started. I could barely do any of the standing poses without nearly blacking out.
I started to get really worried about Utah until before the 1/2 mark was done half the class had also reverted to childs pose before the full sequencses were complete.
While on the ground I did some extra core and leg work, until we moved into warrior poses and more floor work.
I was like a prune by the end & wrung out my towel and clohes like I had been swimming in them.
I was surprised I lasted the whole 90min.

Through High Park trails, hilly road to Humber River Trail & back, hitting the switchback.
Goal was 20k in 2hrs. Hit it right on the nose.
Hot today, in long sleeves, good heat training I hope.
1 AM
road run (night shuffle) 40:00 [0] 3.5 km (11:26 / km)
Thought I should get a night run in but didn't expect it to be this way.
Too impatient to wait in the taxi line so Jog/shuffle/walked from Blue Mnt Village to the chalet with Dee.
One of us may have gone barefoot for awhile and both of us may have peed at the side of the road. Classy.
9 AM
trail running 4:47:45 [3] 30.0 km (9:35 / km) +1533m 7:38 / km
shoes: Salomon Speed Cross 2
Red met me at Logie's and we headed up the switchback (stashed some water) to loree forest to Georgia peaks. Down and up the peaks back through loree and down the switchback.
Red left and now that I knew the route I repeated with two climbs of the peaks.
Georgia Peaks is tough, 10min down and 18min, 22min and 24min each up.
9 AM
trail running 2:53:19 [3] 22.66 km (7:39 / km) +722m 6:36 / km
shoes: Salomon Speed Cross 2
Picked up Bash and started Hockley loop before the speedies caught us which was about 2/3 through.
It was good chatty run with Bash in the beginning.
Then we all split up with 'bent, Dave and Dee up front, me alone in the middle and Bash and Mrs. Gally behind.
I have renamed 'bent tigger with his bouncey shoes.
It was a gorgeous day, great company and fab food at Black birch after.
