Slow out of start, ended up low and climbed to control
2. +01:00Angled downhill to trail to avoid the trash. Turned out trail was rocky and not that runnable anyway. Faceplant #1 crossing some deadfall at the power line.

Followed ditch to N/S trail. Approached control from left. Very slow on climb.

7. +00:30A little tentative once I crossed trail and got into the vegetation.
8. Crossed road and stumbled through first batch of skunk cabbage. Ran right on trail around bend and then compass to control through the decent woods.
9. Confused parallel features

Ended up (not sure how) on the trail above the control. Passed junction before control and figured out where I was. Downhill to the flag.

Straight compass through the thick stuff. Missed the indistinct trail and ended up high.
11. +01:00Faceplant #2 in the trash east of the control. Banged my knee pretty good. Too far left on approach.

15. Considered climbing but wanted to avoid the Sumo wrestlers hanging out near the pagoda. Ran the road.

18. Trail then contour across powerline until I hit the trail leading to the control.
