We drove over to Alex, parked, and then started what turned out to be a super steep climb to an alpine meadow. Weeanimal is not getting any lighter to carry...I was sweating like a phatman by the top. We passed a family of 3 whereby the Mom and the Dad were litterally dragging their teenaged kid up the track. She was sweating profusely and didn't look like she was enjoying herself too much...not even a 'bonjour' to little Weeanimal who smiled at her as we hammered by. Unreal view at the top of the lake and we'll have to make an epic run out of this area at some point.
