Not quite three times around the neighborhood. My knee was starting to stiffen up so I bailed on the last loop. Lost almost 3 lbs of water weight despite wearing my camelbak and drinking. Not hot, only mid 70's, but humid.
Woke up at 4am and tossed and turned until 4:30 when I finally just got up.

Session with Kelly. Used the rigged 7.5lb weights and could feel the difference.

And then since I was already sweaty and it's only going to get hotter, walked the neighborhood loop. More shade on the other side of all the streets at this time of day!
Was 127.8 when I finished. 2 lbs of water weight I guess.

More Stumble work at Hickory Run. Not sure the event will happen or not - is it worth having if you can't have a mass start? But I figure I should have the courses ready to go regardless. I haven't streamered anything yet, just checking that the control sites are all reasonable. Gives me a reason to go play in the woods.
Gave Dennis a scare. I usually text him when I head into the woods on my own when no one knows that I'm going and no one would notice if I didn't come home and then text him again when I get back to my car. For some reason the text I sent when I got back to my car didn't go through. That happens at Hickory Run, especially where I was parked I know that coverage isn't that great, but usually when I drive out of the park, the text gets sent. Perhaps I took too long eating and changing, but the whatever the reason, the text never got sent and I never noticed. I thought it odd that he hadn't texted me back but figured he could have been busy. I got a few phone calls while driving home but figured I'd just deal with them when I got home and never even looked to see who was calling. It was Dennis, wondering if I was okay, did I forget to text him, where was I. He had gotten concerned enough that he called his brother wondering if it was time to start calling park rangers. Luckily I checked my phone as soon as I got home and called him back right away wondering if something had happened to him that he had called me twice. And it took a few back and forths before we figured out what had happened. I will be much more careful to make sure he gets my text next time!
