Note

The airport security took my two cans of Chef Boyardee lasagna! They claimed that they were liquids. I bet they are having a party right now! Oh, well, at least my bike and bag were checked in and all is good!

So last night I had to run down into the basement to grab something. As I was down there I glanced over at my race gear that I packed a couple of nights ago. And what do I see poking out of the duffel bag?! A little mouse head! The little bugger had managed to get into my bag, find my tortilla bag and eaten through the full layer of them. A nice big hole right through 10 tortillas! Thankfully for me, that was the only apparent damage. All other food and clothing seem fine. Phew!

I was already feeling a bit nervous of joining the fast team of Salomon-Suunto this weekend at WT, but it appears that the pressure has been turned up a notch as the team has received media attention in the latest Breathe Magazine issue: http://www.breathemag.ca/news/adventure-racing/the...

Didn't feel like I had a workout tonight. Too easy and too short, which I suppose was them point. Some of the E4 turned into MAP if I wasn't paying attention. Likewise E2 work sometimes ended up in E3 by mistake.
