Trail Running race 5:25:00 [4]

Race with Mr. Gally and friend/neighbour Gerry who did really well considering he had never run more that 10 km before and the odd short AR race. It was fun to race with him and I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard throughout a race. He especially liked the aid stations and proceeded to eat everything he could not realizing how is stomach would react after......more entertainment - Snapped ankle at begginng of race and thought I was done but eventually seemed to get better especially after Bent gave me some advil liquid gel caps - very good stuff but masked the pain too much as I now have a torn ligament but hoepfully if I do as my physio will be back at it in a week or so.............
