Toby Creek Loppet: 20km Skate @ Nipika
Pain...today can only be described as pain...suffering from yesterday. The 'young' bucks took off...I followed. The pace quickened...and I popped off - and that was that...Happy w/ the effort despite the slow twitch today.

Nipika Loppet: 30km Classic

Not so bad today considering it was my first intensity of the year. Kick wasn't the best - probably due to the fact that I hadn't raced on my skis yet. Didn't have much left when 'the move' happened on lap 3. Abs were starting to tighten up too, which didn't help. Good effort.

First day at NSIA Snow Show...escaped for a quick burn after a long day of travel and setup. Explored local trails, and found the Tremblant Nordic trails...firm track - perfect for running...
