Day out on the slopes with Stuart, Nick and Abi. Although not the most cardiovascular of activities, still an active day and I was tired at the end of it! My new touring skis are brilliant, I love them. Can`t wait to do some skitouren!

Heart Rate a little too high. Next time go slower. First day of new programme. Feel fine...the pace seems very very slow. Super langsam...

The best swim session I have had yet.

If I remember correctly the effort was:

4 (100m) / 30s

2 (200m) / 45s

1 x 400


I moved out of the slowest lane and into the middle lane (we use 3 lanes) and I wasnt holding everyone up either.

SO. I was thinking about extending my stroke in the water and creating that `S` movement with my arm in the water, bringing it right through to exiting at the hip, connecting with the water all the way.

Breathing was better also, I seem to be struggling less with that.

My neck is a little stiff but I suppose that is normal as it was the 4th swim session since last Saturday.

Didnt sleep enough last night. But felt ok during the swim. Need to learn to relax in the water.
Feel out of breath a lot but heart rate not high? Work on breathing rhythm.

Run with Marco and Christian up Uetliberg to top of tower. Felt strong. No fatigue in legs from last weeks heavy running volume.
Led the lads all the way up.

Swim at City Hallenbad with Marco. Was v. tired. Didnt sleep well last night (4 hours) Stressed...but teh swim was good.
Practicing breathing but I still feel like I am using up too much energy for the speed gain. Will watch some more videos on technique on youtube!
