Figured it was time to get on the bike, with P2A a month out. Given how I felt on this ride, I expect this could be my slowest P2A yet. :) Quads felt weak from the get go, proving that rollers are no substitute for rubber on the road. Nasty headwind on the return was salt in the wound.
This was also a test of mental fortitude. I like using the Waterfront trail as it is car-less for the most part. However on a sunny Sunday afternoon, parts were so busy I spent much of my time track standing behind folks, or waiting for others to decide they didn't need to occupy both lanes of the trail whilst walking 4-5 wide. Took an alternate route on the return to avoid some of the worst sections.
Arrived at home just in time for a turkey feast. Now in desperate need of a nap.

Rouge with Simpy and Judy on a slightly modified (gasp) run from our normal route. No energy and heavy legs tonight. Might have been the near week of inactivity due to work chaos and visiting family.
