Run long 10:20:00 [3]

Was so very proud of Timato on his first 100-miler. He did such an amazing job. Consistent, never down on himself, managed his body and his mind through the whole thing. And (to be honest) had to listen to me complain (maybe just a little bit) about my hips (training is recommended before pacing... note to self). :) We do seem to work well together in those situations, which is something of a miracle really. :)

Pacing is an interesting experience. You hurt like your racing, but don't have the same pressure. You're tired, sore (at least in my case... back to the training recommendation!), but also very very proud of the accomplishments of the person you're there to support.

Tell people you're running a 60km race, they think you're a little nuts. Tell them you're going to run 60km, at night and that you're not racing, they think you're really nuts. :)

Great to have our friend Mike out there supporting us, sharing the drive and just being out there as encouragement. Tim is a pretty lucky guy to have that kind of a friend.

Spinning 1:10:00 [4]

Got to spin early (Funderstorm, that might be the only time ever and you MISSED it!!) so started my workout a bit early. Legs were pretty heavy at the end.

Mountain Biking 2:00:00 [3]

Beautiful ride on the Cambridge to Paris rail trail with Funderstorm this morning. Stopped at the Brown Dog for a drink and food, then back home. What a beautiful time of year to do this ride. Nice easy peddle and great company. Great Sunday morning activity. :)
