Albion Hills with Bash. Absolutely perfect spring morning, and not crowded (unlike Palgrave). Forests were in spring perfection, and I’d forgotten how nice some of the views are on the Goat path etc.
I cracked something on my ‘bent seat trying to get it out of the new van, so it rode a bit wobbly. (Note to self- next time fully remove the seat instead of folding like I did for the previous van). I didn’t clean many of the eroded root crux moves - either I’m out of practice, the seat’s too loose or the erosion is worse since the fall.
After we got back, AD and I did some filming on the Covid Crusher. He’s remarkably tolerant as I go back and forth setting up the the camera on trees, rocks and ground, then riding past and running back for the camera. My human companions wouldn’t have the patience for that.
The light was so good and forest so green I want to refilm the on-bike POV bits I did previously now.
Seat repaired and reinforced now.
