Cycling 1:00:00 [3]

Out for a ride in Palgrave East. I still have to stick to doubletrack and spin small gears. I also changed my right pedal for a platform with a Powergrip, so my climbing's even worse but I can rotate freely. (Thanks Bash)
So good to be off the trainer and on the trails.

Cycling (Commute) 23:00 [2]

Ahh, back on the bike. Great sunrise.

Cycling (Commute) 50:00 [2]

Yes! Out of the van and back on the bike! Had to detour around massive regrading of the former fields of my commute.

Strength (Link +) 1:00:00 [2]
(injured)

As much of the link workout as my knee, shoulder and neck would allow, plus some kneehab.

Note
(injured)

Threw my neck out yesterday while drying my hair with a towel, of all things.
Great, yet another old injury back to haunt me.

Hiking (Commute) 35:00 [1]

Hiked home from work with trekking poles.
I even did an old-man jog on about 1km of road, and it wasn't too bad. So-o-o great to be commuting under my own steam again and leaving the Bullfrog van behind.

Note
(injured)

Luckily, the lovely LeAnimal and the even lovelier Thumbs-of Death both had appointments today and worked on my neck, so it was tolerable.

Note

Had my appointment with the Orthopedic Surgeon today.
See Bash's log. Bottom line- No permanent damage, no surgery needed but it could be a fairly long recovery, and the winter race is probably out.

I got the green light to do moderate exercise on it again, as long as it doesn't hurt. Woo-hoo!

Cycling (Trainer) 30:00 [2]

Started watching the 00 TDF

Strength (Home gym + Core) 1:30:00 [2]

Workout #1 + most of the Core workout that doesn't involve lateral force on my broken leg.
