Fast-paced run down the Don Valley. Through Earl Bales, up and down the hill a few times, into and around the golf course. Amazing how fast running is on flat dry trails without a heavy pack! I started to feel my knee at the end, so that's about long enough for me at this point.
I took a different route home that involved some paved road, but when I got in the bush it was a slog-fest all the way home in soft slushy snow. I've taken to rotating 2 pairs of Sealskinz, so one's always drying out.
Run to work with Bulletdog. Some ginger stepping on thin crust, some postholing up to mid thigh, and an extra hill run along the border of the new fence where the snow's gone. The next field is a mass of liquid mud now.
Note- It looks like we're getting an official gate through the new fence. We're picking a spot Friday at 2PM, if anyone's interested in meeting up at the East side near Hwy 50. Busy day then as I'm meeting a tech from Hydro One to hopefully get us hooked up selling solar power back to the grid that AM, and I need to head into the city too.
@#$! wind! I was going to run home with Bulletdog, but it's howling out there and I suspect if I ran home through the woods, even if I wasn't hit by a falling tree Bash would clock me on the head with a log for being a doofus.
Started the 01 Tour de France. I used the first 8 sections as intervals, sprinting the finishes hard. The 9th was the Alp D'Huez, site of the infamous "look" Lance gave to Jan before taking off from everyone and making up for a 35 minute deficit, on one of his best climbs ever. I got caught up in this and rode the whole climb at high zone 4, a lot longer and harder than I had planned for a short post-work spin.

Snowshoe O-practice with Goose and Bash, revisiting the scene of the crime from last weekend's Hardrock. Much easier to navigate at a slow pace, and I can actually use the contours and terrain instead of just running bearings.
