Running (Commute +) 1:30:00 [2]
shoes: Brooks CP Green

Run to work with Bulletdog, + more trail clearing.
On the way home we got the rest of the trail-hacking done, more or less.
Thick dense meter-high grass is tough!

It looks like they're starting to close the Palgrave trails. I noted signs and piles of logs on part of the singletrack, and some white Xs on the entrance to other trails, including the one I just cleared :(

Running (Commute +) 35:00 [3]
shoes: Brooks CP Green

Time for the annual trail work workouts. Ran to work with some tools, and stopped to hack at chest-high weeds, nettles, thistles and thick grass on the trail. I ditched the tools in a useful spot for the return home.

Running race (Commute) 20:00 [4]
shoes: Brooks CP Green

I'd planned more trail work, but Bash had an emergency- an attempt to grill polenta and scallop brochettes a la Crash, and she had an early meeting, so Captain Cuisine was required ASAP.

I ran home at race pace (PB even with a heavy pack) but Bash had already managed the BBQ.

Maybe level 5? No HRM.

Note- still not running with Bulletdog. She's been favouring her post-surgical leg since our run Tuesday, so we've given her time off. Maybe we can run in tomorrow at an easy pace.

Cycling 1:15:00 [3]

Albion ride with Bash and Goose. Bash left me in the dust again in the singletrack on her new bike.

Nice cool AM run around Palgrave East with Bash and Bulletdog.

Strength (Home Gym) 1:00:00 [2]

Workout #3 + extra shoulder fly and leg exercises. I'm getting feeble on pulldowns!

Cycling long 4:00:00 [2]

Nice ride with Bash down to the rail trail, to Inglewood to pick up Knobless, then via muddy trails and the dreaded Grange Hill to Belfountain for an iced Soy Mocha, and back.

I used the Omega bike, which is more of a road and trail cruiser. It's certainly faster into the wind and on roads! Bash was on her shiny new steed, and put Knobless and me to shame on the slippery muddy bits.

Note

Here's my big 'bent in a box.
I needed to see how small I can get it for flying.
Now I need to rig up a coroplast travel box this size.
