Ski- O practice with the Coast Raid Crew.
My home-made ski map holder, and my bifocal sun glasses worked a lot better than having a loose map flapping around my neck.
Good solid run through Palgrave East. Mostly trail, setting down tracks beside the ski lane, but some solid hill bushwhacks too.
I seem to be getting cold-acclimated, as my usual commute wear was way too hot. I even had to take off my mitts and go bare handed.
: I see someone was out yesterday trampling down the ski tracks with boots and bikes, mostly avoiding the wide snowshoe/hike lane in favour of the ski tracks. Sigh.
In fairness, the bikes seemed to avoid the ski tracks a bit more than the hikers.

Workout # 3 while Goose was using the paddle trainer.
Just didn't have a lot of oomph today- only 14 chin-ups max amongst the other stuff.
Very crisp -26. Slower skiing with less glide. I tried wearing a light shell over my layers, and got too warm and wet.
Bulletdog wore boots and a coat, and was a happy hound, even if she lost one boot in the last km.
XC Skiing (Commute) 33:00 [3]
Found bulletdog's boot.
Note- the pogies work for my hands at very cold temps, but add a few minutes of fumbling every time I need to de-ski or leash the dog.

Caron's class
Yoga50:00 [1]
Caron's going a little easy on us as we have some new members.
Early morning ski to take maximum advantage of the -27C temps for testing layers for the K-Rock. The key is breathable. It's great except when the wind hits. See the pic on Bash's log.
Also a nice chilly ski to work but no dogs today- too cruel.
Note- I missed my Blasting between skis as I was working on the Windy Hills website.
XC Skiing (Commute) 32:00 [3]
Totally silent night ski home. No wind, no cars, -19- Perfect!
