Orienteering race 55:00 [4]

I started off running well but having a hard time reading the map, especially the faint trails. I was leapfrogging Hammer a bit- silly errors kept knocking me back - ran with him to 2, then decided I'd rather make my own errors than play follow-the-Wadd. I was still with the leaders into the second box, then had a total train wreck going from H to I.
A small parallel error ended up with me completely disoriented, passing A and thinking it was 7, then punching 8 instead of I after a long search in the wrong field, then back to A instead of 7 (Read the control # this time), then finally to the real "I" then 7 after a 21 minute split, then back to 8 and 9.
Another "from hero to zero" race but a nice day out anyway.

Most of workout #1, but a bit tired so I took it a bit easy. Back to 55-45 on the push-ups.
