Cycling 2:00:00 [2]

C3 spin- first time ever spinning in a group. This one was interesting, as we had a talk about decoupling - when your perceived effort goes up but wattage goes down.

Main point- real pro triathletes keep the wattage pretty constant. It's too easy to crank too hard at first, especially on the bike, then kack out later on.

Strength (Home Gym +) 1:10:00 [3]

Workout #1 + 20-29-35-40-30-60 pushups, and the usual knee/foothab

Cycling (Trainer) 20:00 [2]

Easy spin with Frankenjack as he used our paddle trainer.

Cycling (Commute) 25:00 [2]

Bike to work on nice hard frozen trails.

$#@&! knee's a bit sore after yesterday's moderate trot.

Cycling (Commute) 25:00 [2]

Dark & chilly commute home.

Strength (Core) 25:00 [2]

Ugh- another tough class.

Yoga 50:00 [1]

Had to sit out a few things that would have hurt my knee.

Running intervals (Commute) 1:00:00 intensity: (40:00 @1) + (20:00 @3)

Hike/ run to work. 2min hike dragged on, 1 min run went by too fast.

The knee doesn't hurt!!! I didn't feel it at all on the way down- it got a little sore at the end of the commute home.

Progress. Bulletdog was delirious when I put on her flashing collar.

Hiking 45:00 [1]

1hr 40- urban CN adventure. I was in the hobble/pregnant category with LD and Leanimal. Dark, raining, but still fun exploring the lesser known paths of Bolton and ending up at the Black Bull.

Strength 20:00 [2]

Kneehab/foothab and the rest of yesterday's workout.

XC Skiing 52:00 [2]

Up to Hardwood for the first ski of the season. Sketchy conditions, but it's still skiing! Bash dutifully skipped the Thomass and suffered along too.
I just wasn't up to going to Thomass and watching everyone else run.

Knee's not sore after! Looks like I'll be able to ski this winter, even though I still can't run.

Strength (Home Gym) 25:00 [2]

Foothab, kneehab, 20-29-33-40-25 pushups, chin-ups etc. but skipped the back half of workout 3.
