C3 spin- first time ever spinning in a group. This one was interesting, as we had a talk about decoupling - when your perceived effort goes up but wattage goes down.
Main point- real pro triathletes keep the wattage pretty constant. It's too easy to crank too hard at first, especially on the bike, then kack out later on.
1hr 40- urban CN adventure. I was in the hobble/pregnant category with LD and Leanimal. Dark, raining, but still fun exploring the lesser known paths of Bolton and ending up at the Black Bull.
Up to Hardwood for the first ski of the season. Sketchy conditions, but it's still skiing! Bash dutifully skipped the Thomass and suffered along too.
I just wasn't up to going to Thomass and watching everyone else run.
Knee's not sore after! Looks like I'll be able to ski this winter, even though I still can't run.
