Cycling 2:15:00 intensity: (1:15:00 @2) + (1:00:00 @3)

Finally, fantastic weather. Goose, LD and I headed off to the Grackle in Schomberg via the scenic route. I had the narrow harder tires on, which were fast on pavement but lousy on gravel. Great coffee, great ride, great company.
No hail.

Paddlng (erg) 30:00 [2]

Little paddle on the erg.

Running 30:00 [2]
(injured) shoes: Brooks CP4 Yellow

This time it's 10 on 1 off. I did an extra 5 minutes when I ran into a patient and helped her look for her 12 year old lab. Ankle not bad at an easy jog, but was pretty sore when T of D worked on it later. Definitely not healed yet.

Strength (Home Gym) 1:00:00 [2]

Workout 1 + pull-ups and some core work, and the usual knee/foothab.
12 PM

Cycling 52:00 [3] 18.99 km (21.9 kph) +194m

Off to run some errands on the bike. Dry when I decided to ride, but of course it started to hail and pour on me for the whole way down.
I looked like a fluorescent-coloured drowned rat at the post office.

Only moderately rainy on the way home, and sun came out shortly after. Kinda miss the stinging facial massage from the hail.

Cycling (Commute) 30:00 [2]

Once again the heavens dumped on me as soon as I got on the bike, but at least there was no thunder. The dog and I looked like drowned rats when we got to work, and the rain stopped soon after.

Paddlng (Erg) 15:00 [2]

Bit of a spin on the erg before strength.

Strength 1:15:00 [2]

Workout 3 + pull-ups x 15reps and push-ups x 50, plus knee/foothab.

Note

Supposed to do running intervals, but yet again the sky opened up just before. Back to the van- maybe run on the way home if it lets up.

Running (Commute) 35:00 [2]
(injured) shoes: Brooks CP4 Yellow

Up to jog 8 walk 2 now. Ankle protested less at an easier jog, and I took it carefully on a dark foggy night.

Cycling (Trainer) 1:05:00 [3]

I was considering biking to work in the rain when the thunder started.
On the trainer after work instead. Ankle not bad on the bike, but I can feel my knee and some sore muscles from finally getting some decent biking in earlier in the week.

Cycling 1:15:00 [3]

To Palgrave then around the North bits of Albion. Woo-hoo!
After yesterday, I didn't have the legs. Bash sure did!

Strength 10:00 [1]

Foot/ kneehab and some pull-ups.
11 AM

Running intervals 33:04 intensity: (1:36 @0) + (7:47 @1) + (7:57 @2) + (5:09 @3) + (7:13 @4) + (3:22 @5) 4.75 km (6:57 / km) +53m 6:35 / km
ahr:145 max:206 (injured)

Spaff had me doing 5 on- 2 off, and I got the pace up a bit.
Maybe too much- I had to back off on the last one as the ankle started to act up. Sigh.

Oh well, looking at the splits I was probably going too fast. (3:40- 4:30 range)
Garmin mis-read HR to over 200 for a while, and I know it was less.

Cycling 1:43:00 intensity: (7 @0) + (4:52 @1) + (9:47 @2) + (53:51 @3) + (34:23 @4) 37.64 km (21.9 kph) +188m
ahr:147 max:170

Nice Tour de Prince Edward County. Mainly back roads, some washed out dirt, some pavement, some wind and fairly flat except for a few good climbs.
12 PM

Hiking 13:22 [0] 0.6 km (22:19 / km) +36m 17:10 / km

Easy hike (Stroll?) on my sister's property. Used the Garmin track to map a trail we took.
