2hrs+ Nasty day for riding so I got most of the wood hauled and chopped. Some serious resistance by some knotty big logs made for a good workout. Only 1 load left.

shoes: La Sportiva Crosslite 2.0

First lap easier with both beasts, then left Brody the Bazingadog at home and bulletdog and I did a loop of Palgrave at a pretty good clip. Pushed it up the hills too.
As always, I can feel the knee.

Note- my LaSportiva Crosslite 2.0s have both got rips in the side of the toes, just behind the reinforced bit. Only about 25 hours on these shoes, and I really like them. Shoe-goo time.

Took the hounds out for a quicker run around the Chalevoix loop.
Bazingadog was actually lagging a bit at the end, (on leash) while Bulletdog kept up OK even after all the biking yesterday.
I need to get the little guy tired out so he'll be relaxed at work while Bash's away.

Note- knee is about 80%. The long run didn't destroy it.

To work with Bulletdog in the nice cool morning, then back via Red Dog and Salty Stephen singlettrack. Easier ride with a lighter pack as my laptop's in the shop. So lucky to have this kind of riding so close on a strangely warm fall day.

(60 min) Easy hike-jog with the hounds. Bazingadog's getting powerful.

Hockley loop with Bash on her "easy" run.
Knee sore during but not too bad , but ice and vitamin I after just in case.

Amazing fall colours but hot summer weather. Great to be out- see how it feels tomorrow, and if my theory about slower running causing less damage is true.
