Run in Glenn Haffy with BGY and Quinn the well-behaved ultradog. We ran into K/O and ran with her for a bit. Huge traffic of Asian hiking group (they are hardcore- always out there). We took little-used side trails back.
Great lunch after!
I felt yesterday's ski a bit, and the left hamstring/glute and right heel made themselves known, but the bronchitis is fading.
Wahoo, finally well enough to ski at Highlands.
Did the entire outer loop except for part of the lower Woolner section that was all washed out, and did a second orange/blue. Not super fast, but I still have enough fitness to trot up the hills.
Trails were pretty lumpy and way too crusty for Skijoring, but not terrible on skis. I think a fat bike would be the ideal way to go right now.
No complaints, great to be able to ski without hacking up a lung.
Coach LD suggested I meet her at Mono for a night ski, so I bailed on my planned run and we had an amazing ski at an easy pace. Lungs held out as long as I didn't push it, but Coach kept an eye on me.
So good to be out again. So much work ahead to get ready for Gatineau!
Snowshoe instruction at Albion. I ran with the quicker group.
Some newbie (Sean Bechtel- Canadian Triathlon legend) and I did some solid bushwhack runs up and down steep hills.
I was thrilled to be able to finally run a bit, but was gassed on the steep ups.
