Cycling 1:00:00 [3] 14.0 km (14.0 kph)

Out with Bash in the steamy heat. New mods working perfectly now, and I got the big bike clean around Salty Steven, including around the tricky hairpin turn at the end for the first time.

Strength 1:00:00 [2]

Workout 2 and lots of rehab. I've been remiss on this.

Paddlng 30:00 [2]

SUP in the quarry

Yoga 20:00 [1]

Caron's SUP yoga class.
My hamstring injury is *finally* loose enough to try this, even though it's still tight when running.

Running 1:14:34 [3] 10.7 km (6:58 / km) +178m 6:26 / km

Stuffed my fat cankle into running shoes and my huge leg into loose shorts for a run around Palgrave with AD before it gets too hot.
2 nice clean swims for the pooch.

Cycling 1 [3]

Off to Albion for a nice ride, testing out some new bling idlers.
Great traction in bone dry conditions.

I got off in a section of pine singletrack where there had been a blowdown to move a log, and thought I was suddenly swarmed with FDFs. Then I thought I was in stinging nettles, until I noticed the FDFs were ground wasps and they were all over me. I ran off, but had to dash back into the angry swarm to get my bike. I got hit at least 4 times, and decided to pull the plug and head home in case I get an allergic reaction again.

Paddlng 3:15:00 [3] 13.21 km (4.1 kph)

Paddle- out day. Back to the long portage from Louisa to Rock lake. I dropped off my boat and pack and ran back- felt like I was running in lunar gravity by comparison.
Good teamwork qnd organization and we made short work of the portage, even with Teeny Tiny and AD.
Back to Rock Lake campground for another swim, then back home via Kawartha Dairy and AO.

Fantastic trip, Teeny and Adventuredog were both rock stars. Perfect weather- no rain, not humid or super-hot, few bugs, great food, lots of relaxation and swims. Can you ask for better?

Paddlng 1:30:00 [2]

More easy day tripping, hanging around camp reading in hammocks, swimming, throwing sticks for Adventuredog, and sunset paddles.

I like the quiet time at dawn when I'm the only one up, and the coffee is on.
