Training Log Archive: 'Bent

Hockley run with Adventuredog. Studded shoes and poles were perfect. Trail was smooth and even where it was well used, which included the side trails. I headed North but turned around on the last field before Dunby road as it was lumpy and crusty. No open glare ice, but there were bits under a few cm of snow.

Legs felt really good- I ran every hill, and threw in an extra climb to the lookout as I still had lots of gas in the tank. I think all the HTFU commutes help. AD was indefatigable of course, and even had a nice play session with a big beast of a pooch that looked like Brody's blonde brother.

Rainy and slushy run in wifh the big boy, but we got out early and did some extra hills on the way home in daylight with no rain.

My neck's a mess, so only a very easy workout with mostly lower body stuff and a bit of lumberjack work.

Solid run in with Adventuredog. Snow's softened up a bit more, and there's more ice. Bah.

Rain, ice, slush and dark. Still beats driving.

Another run in on hard snow and ice with the big guy.

Commute with AD in the drizzle. Conditions much like SSR- ice patches but mostly wet snow, soft in spots. Ugh.

Note- left hamstring thing very tight after SSR.

Out picking up controls with Bash and the Beasts. Tiny and Teeny Tiny joined us for about 1.5 controls.
