Extreme cold warning, so of course I headed out for a ski. Local conditions were decent, but there wasn’t much glide. Bluebird day with brilliant sunshine and not too much wind.
Other than my fingers and thumbs I was nice and warm. No dogs though.

Tough bushwhack run over hill and dale, inlcuding some spots only good in winter.
Brisk -22, but I was warm except for my toes. I think the snowshoe harness restricts circulation.

WOH run with Trav, Rox, Logan and Brody on his harness. Some quick sections early on with a motivated Bazingadog. Weather was not as cold as forecast, so we could have gone the long route.

Gorgeous night snowshoe with Bash, LD and Goose under the supermoon and a completely clear sky in dead calm air at -23c. We were well fuelled with Thai food the Doughtys had brought.
We dropped in on Crash to sing Auld Lang Syne, then back home for goodies by the fire.
