Nice open hilly woods, and a box of 15 controls where I needed to get 9 meant that I spent most of this running by myself easily instead of sprinting to keep up with better orienteers. I had to give up on 15 after 3 tries (should have read the description) but found it later on the non-box course. Fun run, mid-pack finish I think.

Run went OK at first, but I took a wrong turn and ended up way down a subdivision trail and had to backtrack. Also a bit confusing with the numbering in the second box meant I visited some controls twice. Oh well, at least I navigated by myself again. Mid-pack finish again with the fast 0 handicap kids.

Woo hoo, ski to work with AD. Very marginal on the way in, put some new gouges in the rock skis, but better skiing home in dumping snow by headlamp.
