Hiking 1:00:00 [2] +200m

Hike with Bash on some new-to-us trails from Camperdown up to parts of the SSR map. Always cool to explore new trails and the leaves and views were amazing.

Hard, worn-down old hiking boots aren’t ideal for steep clay slopes. Be great on snowshoes!
8 AM

Running 1:54:25 [3] 14.13 km (8:06 / km) +443m 7:00 / km

Pretty River with Tarno and all 3 pooches.
Spectacular! We all wore hunter-repellant orange.

Strength (Lumberjack) 1:00:00 [2]

Another 2 loads heaved, hauled, split and stacked.
12 PM

Cycling 1:19:00 [3] 16.94 km (12.9 kph) +303m

Gorgeous day for a full tour of Palgrave East, minus a couple of PI hotspots. Did the Northern lollipop in reverse for a change.

Quick commute without dogs. Definitely fall weather out.

Wednesday Oct 16, 2019 #

Strength 1:00:00 [2]

Easy workout 2, some rehab, a bit of ski-specific work and some lumberjack.
Absolutely dumping rain so I drove like a princess.

Tuesday Oct 15, 2019 #

Cycling 1:00:00 [3]

Poochless commute via singletrack. Conditions are excellent but a ton of rain forecast.

Running 2:08:00 [1] 10.84 km (11:48 / km) +186m 10:52 / km

Hike/jog on the white trail to search for the old Minesing camp we didn’t find in August. Success! Again, phenomenal colours
11 AM

Paddlng 20:00 [3]

Paddle from Arowhon to the trail access.

Cycling 1:30:52 [3] 16.19 km (10.7 kph) +276m

Minesing bike trail. We’ve done this for about 23 years, but this may have been the most spectacular due to the tunnel of yellow leaves above and the carpet below.

The leaves did tend to hide treacherous rocks and holes, but my new tire was really grippy and I had an easier ride than Bash.
2 PM

Paddlng 1:04:00 [3]

Short but challenging paddle in howling winds.

Good sightings of Momma Moose and her yearling.
