Walking 1:41:08 intensity: (23:03 @0) + (1:16:09 @1) + (1:49 @2) + (7 @3) 2.78 mi (36:23 / mi) +61m 34:04 / mi
ahr:103 max:152

18 holes of disc golf with brother and eldest nephew. Would have been 10 minutes faster if I didn't lose one six feet off the fairway on #2. It buried itself under some leaves; it was quite a project to find it.

Game setup: Nephew and I, throwing a Roc / Buzz each (single disc challenge, using a solid midrange) best disc against brother throwing Zephyr (super class (beach frisbee / lid) that flies super straight but can't do much, it's pretty heavy). It was almost even through the first 9, but then poor brother got stuck with it not turning on him as expected and he had to chunk out of the woods too many times on the back to stay even. Had nephew and I played him straight, it would have been a bloodbath.

I prefer the single midrange Roc / Buzz when I'm out of disc golfing shape, since it's easy to manage (no bag), not a huge penalty putting, and then if you aren't driving a lot, you can't, so only the good person takes a hit on throwing distance since they can't wail some monster driver shot that you'll never make.

Easy jog at one of my favorite parks, glacially formed meadows near the parents.

Disc golf near my old high school. Fun course, especially with the low water making disc retrieval easy when lost to the main water hazard

Easy jog with two less easy laps (not fast for how uneasy!) after doing an hour of magnolia leaf hauling. It took something like (5) 10'x12' tarp loads to clear the back yard.

*** Asterisked performance ***

I consulted on earlier drafts of the course, so I already knew my routes to most c (mostly so I could warn Ken that the swamp cross ability needed to be accurate in key spots).

Super nice to be able to see so far, eg, #6, where you can spot the hill from waaaaaay above and then just run run run at it. Wish I was fitter to exploit the runnability. Ken found many hills as well.

More detail later.

Big pick up loop, hoping to not pull anything before Oprsal got to it on his late Green start.

Orienteering 4:12 intensity: (3:14 @0) + (58 @1) 0.32 mi (13:07 / mi) +3m 12:47 / mi

Quick run to the already picked up 61 and the game cam one.

So I guess the watch only starts when it feels like it? Thanks FR235.
