Fun course at Maybury. I arrived late, having carted kid to practice, so I didn't read most of the rules/notes, nor did I plan, which was my downfall as I started off going to the SW corner, which had no points, instead of the NE corner, which had a ton of points.
Also, 4 seconds over, whoops, but I think Maletich had enough lead.
Pounds per points, surely ahead of the fit beasts in the rest of the upper spots. :)

Ones in the meadows by the standard MTB parking, and two on the way back. Feet cold at this point.

Heritage Park: SMOC's Revenant Edition
Other than fighting a bear, I think I managed to spend as much time underwater as Leo did in his Oscar-winning role.
One true navigation error, drifted on #5.
One massively dumb process error, went to Lap #2 #2, and from there, navigated halfway from #12 to #13, before seeing BJ made me wonder, and then I realized #3 was a long way the other way. Ouch!
I didn't run much, it's amazing how fast I lose fitness right now. :(
I tried the "trail" to #12, since you, know, the trail went right from the clearing to the control, only it turned out the water was fully navel deep. Brr!

pick up. I should talk Alan to into more militant 3 pm pickup regardless of who's still out, as it's my pet peeve to have had somewhat light attendance but still not be able to leave the venue until after 4:30 pm (I was shuttling flags north to BNM country).
