Tactical error, as I forgot about the inservice day tomorrow, so I had to lug a large amount of stuff in a bag hanging from one of my grips. Should have taken the trailer! I meant to walk it, but work was too busy today.
Some pushback from Maybury about travel "off designated trails" thanks to covid-inspired park attendance and behavior creating bandit trails.

Knee doesn't like the free bike. Doesn't seem to mind the full suspension as much.
Three possible causes:
I bonked my knee into something. I don't always notice injuries while racing, so that's maybe it.
I twisted/strained it while hiking. There were some steep hills and weird steps.
I haven't ridden my mtb enough and then did 42 miles as hard as I could and knee wasn't trained up to that seating position....
Either way, I hope it sorts itself out. Last week it was in good shape until 1/3rd of the way through Crooked Lake. Maybe I will have to one legged climb the hills like I do with stairs at the moment (keep iffy leg straight, do all power through okay one).

Did the lesson....poorly...(tried to show joy of woods when the light green was a bit towards medium)....
Then had a successful run. Biggest tactical error was not going back through 4 after 5, instead trying to find some path through the green to the road. Also, probably faster to jam trail left to 10 than straight, and maybe lefter to 15?
