Harvey chose to walk! And did so robustly. He elected to start our 50 degree day in shorts and a light hoodie, but geared up to pants and a winter coat two blocks in. I was kind of hoping he would learn that in a safe way.

In the morning, Harvey said he wanted to walk home.
I should not have trusted him.
This set off the cascade of events that resulted in daughter's drop off occurring 30 seconds before class started. Not my finest night.

I am proud that I did this while it was raining. My old rain pants and jacket, I think purchased for a 2012 Rage? have seen better days, but their water...I'm not even sure if it's resistance, take enough of the edge off for that time duration so no rush. Assuming safe / legal travel to Ontario in 2022, I'll get a new set for my favorite race.

I accidentally spoiled the bonus control, so I decided to pretend I figured it out and go for speed, then slide myself to the bottom after the fact.
After walking a newb team to #32 and seeing how vague those trails were, I decided to go through the MTB trailhead first to warm up, then hit those indistinct trails when I was warmed but not tired, then loop the probably easiest meadow area last.
The indistinct maze was tough, I kept losing them, Plus its kind of flat, so less to anchor off of. Biggest wander was maybe #33, turned off the trail too early.
