Day 2 Broulee sand dunes - only one error today on 6 - lost about 6 minutes on a control that others had struggled with the previous day. Did not read the up bit on the map very well plus even when hitting 1 I could not navigate back to 6 which was only about 100 metres away (albeit there was green in between). Again avoided the heavy forecast rain. Great area and good map.

Broulee sand dunes - mistake on 1, 3 and 4 - rest were OK. But lost a fair amount of time at mistakes - Control 3 was frustrating as scale got me (1:5000). Saw two controls off the track and decided to go for the far one and not run by and check the number on the closer control - which was mine in the end. Lucky we avoided the rain which was about 30 mm in the late arvo/evening. Garmin says my moving time was about 10 minutes less than course time - shows how much standing around trying to interpret the map was involved.

Circumnavigation of Lake Burley Griffen (LBG) from and to Duffy Heights. Peloton of 4. Sunny but chilly weather. Long coffee stop at Kingston Foreshore to solve the world's problems.
