Squirt and I, along with two other couples hiked the Cape Chignetico trail along the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia. A 5 day 5 night camping trip with heavy heavy packs! Ugh, clos to 50 pound pack. Super fun times though including 2 nights where we slept on the beach. The Fundy tides were crazy (7 feet per hour rise/fall).

Hmm, no map prep, marked course, water stations, no strategy, no roots/rocks/marshes to get in the way. I could get used to this...wait what am I talking about! In any case, this was a good run for me. Did what I set out to do, which was to beat 1:45. At km 16 it started to pour rain and didn't stop. Quite the downpour.

Whoo! Orienteering has started again. A special twilight intermediate course, a little break in between for food and talk, then a night orienteering course! The twilight course was fast and just a tad wet - no hiccups on this one.

Second session (short-advanced), this one a night o-course! It was fun, a good mix of woods, trails, suburban roads, some creeks, and.......some golf fairway running! Saw one skunk who was not happy.

Accompanied Squirt at one of the Greco classes. They set up 8 stations where you do 45 seconds at the station with no rest in between. Did the circuit 4 times plus som other burpies and push ups. Tough workout, can see why people like the class format.
