Longer and hillier ride out around Bradfield and Strines then back to the A57 and up to Stanage from Bamford. Home over Burbage. Continuously battered by wind and rain made it pretty tough going. Enjoyed an easier week though, shin felt pretty good so should be able to slot back in to normal training next week.

Cruise round Riv, body felt good but legs a little heavy from cycling. Put in a bit of an effort up Black Brook and the rest of top path. Pretty sure my shin isn't shin splints. Inside of R ankle has been a bit stiff since tweaking it down in Bristol. Think spending more time on trails means all the micro-adjustments have tugged the lower tendons etc around on which is being exacerbated by the stiff ankle, all seems to emanate from there. Wore long socks which helped today, also ordered some new milers and will stick to more even surfaces to let it ease down.

Ride out Bradfield way in the wind and rain. Quite grim conditions but movingg well and nice to get some good climbs in. Frustrating day generally with tenancy stuff but good to be out. Shin feeling fine but don't fancy pushing it before getting back to normal stuff next week.

Trot round Rivelin with Mellor. Felt pretty wiped out all day. Shin grumbling a bit after 30mins~, marginally longer than intended.

Long day moving house (have to again in 10 days because of contract mix ups!) but got out for a short spin along through Riv, over to Dungworth, out to Bradfield then home via Malin Bridge. Felt tired but moving ok, nothing much from the shin today.
