This was fun! And tricky! Fairly clean other than a small bobble at 2 and some confusion going to 13 - my brain must have been dead because it was a straightforward leg.
I taped my ankle really carefully and it didn’t give me any issues woohoo! Unfortunately, I developed terrible blisters on the bottom of both feet near my arches. Decided to skip the rest of the weekend to avoid doing more damage to my feet. I guess I lost all my orienteering calluses!

Running 25:08 intensity: (5:13 @1) + (7:51 @2) + (11:18 @3) + (46 @4) 2.24 mi (11:13 / mi) +30m 10:47 / mi

Started out in a great mood, it’s so nice to run in the woods instead of along the Charles which has quickly become monotonous. For some reason I thought I would be fine without taping my weak ankle - that was a mistake. A few mins into the run I rolled it pretty bad and heard a crunch… stopped for a bit then decided to keep going but forced myself to go reeaaally slowly and stick to the wider, flatter trails. Ended up cutting it short :( Pretty damn frustrating! Currently icing and elevating.
I’m hoping this doesn’t affect my ability to run at Pawtuckaway next weekend.
