Still building volume back to regular workouts. Put 60 situps into this one but still a far cry from the 150 or so I'd like to be able to do without being sore for a week. But the soreness from this workout was definitely less than the 33 situps a week ago - so I guess I'm on the path to recovery.
Short relaxing ride around Bronte with JK exploring a rolling east/west path that takes you into Burlington. The path passes right by a DQ which makes it an excellent candidate for a regular part of the loop.
Also figured out tonight as I pulled the bike out for the first time that in the post-race gear collection at WT I somehow lost my bike helmet. I called Bob and also spoke to the fire chief in McDougall county (who kept all the lost and found) but it's nowhere to be found. Definitely not the next gear purchase I wanted to be making next...and this all after I was so proud that I didn't lose anything at WT...
The backsquats are definitely an easier substitution for the OHS but at 15 mins I kept good pace throughout and did not break up any sets of 15. Still a rude awakening back to the world of Crossfit.
