Melton Station > Kurunjang

Was sat at Southern Cross with the ptv website telling me the next train was in 16 minutes, when in fact, I'd already missed the train-replacement-bus by 6 mins. Grrrr.

Quite a pleasant run up Toolern Creek past some lovely red gums and duck families.

Sprint into Spring - Kurunjang Schools

Last starts ticked over as I was running the last bit to the event. Oops. Entered, then paid, then started, then cleared and checked, then started again.

Brain was not really in orienteering mode, and legs were cooked. Bumbled around, but must have done ok. In hindsight, maybe 18-19 was shorter going through the primary school?

Think I could have shaved off about 3 mins with SI Air and loose control descriptions ;)

David kindly returned me to Melton Station. Jogged slowly home from Clifton Hill the long way.
