Orienteering race (Larentia Farm) 1:39:12 [3] 7.0 km (14:10 / km) +380m 11:09 / km
ahr:187 max:216 shoes: Solomans S-LAB feelcross 3

Had a good strong race, I can feel that my legs are still slightly recovering from the JWOC week and preparation before hand.

Started off really strongly, the first small mistake that I made was at control #12. I managed to navigate perfectly into the circle of the control, but looked in the wrong direction of the control and ended up running past it in search of my place for relocating. I manage to do something very similar again at control #14 where I paced incorrectly and over shot my control heading to the thicket just behind the actual control.

I was happy with my performance for the day.

Road Running 15:48 [3] 3.04 km (5:12 / km) +215m 3:50 / km
ahr:193 max:206 shoes: Inov8 F-Lite 195

Starting already on my preparation for JWOC next year (for some strange reason).

Did a nice easy run, struggled a bit breathing during the run which was a bit weird.

Trying to mix up routes and climbs during my runs to simulate the best type of running that could be possible during sprint events, as well as work on the speed and endurance needed of the bush and forest event.

Orienteering (St Stithians Event) 5:00:00 [3] 14.0 km (21:26 / km)
shoes: Solomans S-LAB feelcross 3

Ran a event at St Stithians, had to set out control, ran around helping students doing the event out. Had to control collect.

This was a great way to loosen the legs after a long flight and prepare for my training ideas i have planned ahead.
