LoCO FIT breakfast run starting at the Doudy Draw trailhead -- Springbrook South, Goshawk, and Fowler trails into Eldorado Canyon. We turned around at the Bastille overlook and returned via Fowler and Springbrook North.

Weather was perfect -- overcast and not hot. Delicious egg & cheese breakfast sandwich afterwards with the group at Panera.

Ankle is still swollen and achy, but I can run on it OK (as long as my foot doesn't land awkwardly).

A few of us at our turnaround point, watching climbers on The Bastille.

LoCO FIT workout.

- Ran 0.75 from Community Park to the trailhead to warm up.

- 50 minutes of "up & overs" at the Aquarius hill -- 3.5 laps.

- Ran 0.75 back to the park to cool down.

I'm really enjoying being a morning person (doing these workouts in the afternoon heat SUCKS! and it's nice to be already done for the day). I hope I can make it last. :-P

Run / Hike intervals 52:30 [3] 4.39 mi (11:58 / mi)

LoCO FIT workout at the LMS track -- our last track workout of the summer, since school starts next week.

- Ran 0.75 to warm up.

- 2 x (5 laps of ins & outs). My plan said "4 to 5 laps" -- so I was happy I didn't flake out and only do four. I was also happy to not tweak my ankle (it's still bruised & swollen and will hurt if I step on it in a certain way, but I was able to get through this workout).

- Ran 0.75 to cool down.

Run / Hike 15:00 [3] 0.75 mi (20:00 / mi)
slept:7.0 weight:120.6lbs

Walked to & from the rec center.

Along the way, I spotted someone's dog-poop-bag holder in the grass. I found an eye-level tree branch to hang it from, facing the sidewalk. I feel like I have done my good deed for the day.

Strength / Stretching 45:00 [3]

Becky's Recovery Yoga class at the rec center (outdoors -- so nice!).

6 PM

Run / Hike 35:06 [3] 1.85 mi (18:58 / mi) +33ft 18:39 / mi
shoes: Hoka Challenger (2019)

"Ladies Night" at Runners Roost. I mainly went for the possibility of winning a raffle item. ;-) But first I did a short walk with a few of the other injured / recovering people.
