I need to take a few days off because my shoulder is not getting any better and now my back hurts, too. Hopefully both will heal within the week and I can back into the program. For now it will be complete rest.

P90X Core Synergistics. Very tough workout if you really engage. Recovery week almost over and my shoulder is still bothering me.

Bike to work and home on the fixie today. Had to wait for the 5PM T-Storm to roll thru before leaving for home.

P90X Cardio workout this morning. Should be Kenpo on this day of recovery week but like I did during the first phase, I'm switching to the Cardio workout.

Bike to and from work on the fixed gear bike. Another very nice day for biking.

Today is the Core Synergistics workout during the recovery week. Lots of core work, push-ups, cardio. Very tough workout.

Running 24:35 [5] 3.11 mi (7:54 / mi)

Did a 5K run after work. I thought I would go faster than this but the heat got to me. It was around 88 degrees with humidity off the charts. Still felt like this was a good run for me.

Monday Aug 10, 2009 #

Bike to work and back on the fixed gear bike. Very hot day but not too bad once you get rolling and you get the wind in your spokes.

P90X 1:32:30 [4]

P90X Yoga tonight after getting home from work. Great workout. I'm getting better at all the moves in this workout.
