Hardcastle crags training

Just felt so tired, really super annoying as kinda a long way and was really hoping to get some good quality technical stuff in pre jK. Definitely felt good for a couple bits but quite a physical area so struggled.
Feeling a bit worse cold wise def yesterday didn't help. ah well. no cough or anything which is good. Time to cut back a bit pre JK anyway and most importantly get the lurgy gone so will be ok.
Legs just sore, and just felt in a bad mood after this as quite a lot of travel and have a lot of work to do for next week so just feeling a bit under it all after being out almost the whole day yesterday.
Got a bit more o planned in soon pre jk so that should be good and two weeks not travelling etc should also be good to reset
on a slightly more positive note was very warm and sunny today which was nice :) hopefully more of this pending

Note

On the way to english schools xc on the coach felt alright cold wise past few days but feeling quite bunged up just in nose/blocked ears. Not bad but defo worse than yesterday so annoying.
Not in my throat so should be fine to run just so annoyint

English schools XC - 60/307. 2nd south yorkshire

Really annoyed with start as couldn't do SYXC so was told to go 8th in pen despite winning city champs and everyone said it was ok in team but not the end of the world just meant that start was really tough and spent the whole time passing people which was difficult given was such a boxed in course, like 10s infornt of me at the finish was about 15 people. Happy ish with result given the short course, was quite fun actually but very sticky and muddy so hard to run in places. Don't think cold was affecting me too much tbh, feeling not so good this evening but I think thats tiredness if nothing else. Always find these short races a bit hard as don't think i can run much faster but feel like I could carry on for a couple more kms. Ah well all good experience.
Also managed to leave about 6 hours of finished work on the coach so thats a bit shit :(

Easy run around castle dyke and Whirlow with Becca. Some strides aswell. Felt ok. Was chucking it down again.
Think I have like a tiny cold which only really presents itself in the evenings and doesn’t affect me when running so should be ok for xc race on Saturday.

lovely stuff however sub optimal weather windy and raining but nice to be the only people out. Fuelled by a new kringle swirl wednesday apple and cinnamon. Very muddy out tho

decided to run as woke up feeling not so good with sore throat but from late morning felt so much better pretty normal but just kept run super chill.

Feeling a bit mild sore throat again this evening... but better than yesterday actually

Chilled grass session with becca

Just one to get the legs moving pre saturday.

3x3,3x2,3x1 (1 min recovery, 3 mins between sets). session planned to be a bit speedier but both not on top form and legs felt heavy, so we decided just to settle into a nice rhythm and get it done. Nice not to feel broken post session
